About Us
As a young kids martial arts school, the Kombat Arts Training Academy started out in a small part of Gold’s Gym in Mississippi. At the time it was only attended by a small but dedicated group of kids and instructors.
We quickly grew and had to move to a bigger place in 2002. Mavis and I moved into a small building complex that was about 3500 sq. ft. In order to accommodate the growing number of students, more kids classes were added to the school.
2004 was a good year for the team to grow even more, so they moved again to a much bigger place by Kamato and Tomken. It was about 5500 sq. ft. At last, the Kombat Arts Training Academy had enough space to put in a boxing ring for the very first time. In addition, separate areas for grappling and standup could be easily set up in the gym.
About 20 or so people now teach Martial Arts, and there are close to seven different programmes. There has been a lot of growth at our gym, so we have decided to move our academy to a 8500 sq. ft. building. People at our school are very excited about this new project, and we promise to keep giving the best kids martial arts training in Mississauga.
